Most Greek mid-market companies have no dedicated procurement function. Third-party spend is one of their largest cost lines, yet it is handled by whoever has time between other jobs.
The two existing models leave money on the table. Success-fee savings projects end, the savings fade, and the party that reports the savings is the party paid on them. Procurement software is sold to companies with nobody to operate it.
